Taos Children's Saferoom is a program of Community Against Violence. Provides forensic interviews to children under the age of eighteen, and adults with developmental delays for law enforcement and Protective Services. Education is provided to the community about child abuse and violence prevention. Part of the Safehouse is the Taos County Multi-Disciplinary Team which is made of representatives of all agencies involved with child abuse investigation, prosecution, and treatment. The Team oversees all child abuse cases. Education is also provided to area providers on juvenile sex offenders.
