Provides prepared meals for people who are hungry. Meals are offered every Tuesday and Wednesday, from 4:30-5:10 PM, as takeouts during the pandemic. As many Food Pantry Bags as customers want are offered every Tuesday and Wednesday at the OLOS Parish Hall. They are also given the option of having a bag with or without a pound each of dry pinto beans and rice. Donations are gratefully accepted from organizations and individuals in the city.
Comedor de San Pascual Soup Kitchen is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Comedor is incorporated. Its purpose is to provide free community evening meals and food pantry bags, opportunity to socialize for children and adults twice weekly, and coordinate volunteer activities and outreach to other non-profit organizations in the communities of Las Vegas and San Miguel County, NM.
